Following on from recent rumors about the LEGO Sonic The Hedgehog 2025 lineup, the LEGO Group has officially revealed 77001 Sonic’s Campfire Clash. News of this came through during the latest Sonic Central event, where the LEGO team showcased two of the three new sets due to launch on January 1, 2025. The other was 77003 Super Shadow vs. Biolizard.
For this review, we are looking at 77001 Sonic’s Campfire Clash, the smallest of the upcoming Winter wave. The set weighs in at a total of 177 pieces and will retail for $19.99 / €19.99 / £17.99. Included in the set is a single minifigure of Sonic; the figure boasts a new angrier expression on his molded headpiece. Gamers will also face off against two of Sonic’s adversaries; one a flying G.U.N. Beetle robot drone and the other a posable G.U.N. Hunter robot figure.
The name of the set perhaps was a dead give-away that this was a campfire build, but given the size it is rather modest. A small log fire fitted with a red seat, some greenery, and Tockey, the small turtle from the Sonic The Hedgehog universe. Fitted with a speed sphere launcher and a speed sphere, it also contains three gold rings for Sonic to collect.
