With the end of September in view, that means Halloween is just around the corner! LEGO’s 2024 Halloween collection sees its latest addition with the LEGO Halloween 40697 Light Up Jack-o’-Lantern. It will be a new GWP available starting on October 1, 2024, that will last for roughly two weeks with purchases over the rumored $120 threshold.
While 40697 Light Up Jack-o’-Lantern might seem rather familiar to the fans of previous LEGO Halloween GWPs, it does include a light brick-an incredibly sought-after inclusion for promotional sets. This light brick will light up the ornately designed orange pumpkin, easily making it one of the most beautifully crafted LEGO pumpkins to date.
It features some seriously spooky eyes, a rather sinister mouth, and even a nose, all set upon a simple green grass patch made from just a few small plates. Complemented by a few autumn-colored leaves, an adorable yet somewhat creepy brick-built white ghost with menacing face constructed from just a handful of pieces completes the autumnal scene.
Customize the Fun
But a high point of this set, though, is that both the pumpkin and ghost are customizable. You can easily swap in a more friendly carved face for the pumpkin. The ghost’s mouthpiece rotates 180 degrees to change its expression. And make it far friendlier than its ghostly counterparts.
